About the SIMs
You simply play the simulation by making classroom decisions, enforcing and
modifying rules, and responding to events initiated by students, parents,
and administrators. At the end of each quarter you will receive feedback
on how your decisions might affect the happiness, behavior, and academic
progress of your students.

"I will be a new teacher this fall and the 9-12 Discipline Simulation has been useful in helping me
think of potential classroom distractions and how I might handle each. This game helps teachers
learn how their responses to disruptive events affect the classroom. It's a great program!"
– Lisa, Vanderbilt graduate, '07
"I will use the SIM 6-8 in our mentoring program to give my teachers a multi-sensory experience
of being in a classroom before being in the classroom. It is fun, innovative, and an interesting way
to give new teachers classroom management experience before the first day of school."
– Lynn Pogue, Assistant Principal, Clark Middle School, TX
"Ruby Payne has been very influential in helping teachers understand the changing environment in
the classroom. The needs of the students have changed from 10 years ago. We must change our teaching
style."
– Charlie Jehler, Teacher, Central Middle School, TX 77627
